Use the record type to choose the correct Metcalfe County or Kentucky office:
- Court case files: contact the Metcalfe Circuit Court Clerk, 201 E. Stockton Street, P.O. Box 27, Edmonton, KY 42129, at 270-432-3663, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Sheriff reports and warrant verification: call the Metcalfe County Sheriff at 270-432-3041; the official listing gives P.O. Box 371, Edmonton, KY 42129, but no separate public-counter address
- Edmonton police reports: submit through the City Clerk at 207 East Street, Edmonton, KY 42129, email openrecordsrequest@cityofedmontonky.com, or call police at 270-432-3171
- County administrative records: contact the Metcalfe County Open Records Custodian, 201 N. Main Street, P.O. Box 149, Edmonton, KY 42129, 270-432-3181, metcotr@scrtc.com
- Centralized criminal history: use Kentucky State Police Criminal Identification and Records Branch procedures for a permitted name or fingerprint check
- Expungement filings: obtain the required Kentucky certification, then file the proper form with the Metcalfe Circuit Court Clerk when the original charge was filed in Metcalfe County
The sheriff does not publish a dedicated records-unit counter, hours, or fee schedule. Call first for the current submission address. For the official judicial case, use the Circuit Court Clerk rather than the sheriff.
